All Change / Interesting Times

It's never been clear whether consultations are worth the effort of attending. It often seems like meetings are a 'thanks for your input but we're doing what we planned anyway' futile exercise, and a token gesture to meet a legal requirement. However, if locals will benefit, if the area where needed is improved, local history and character preserved (so not sure what this image means, they're staying or going?) -

- then maybe there is are exciting times ahead. Or it could be  distressing, frustrating and shameful times. Either way when this blog started I was aware that ahead there could be the 'interesting times'. Let's hope for the exciting best that can mean.
